Casey's Four-Year Checkup

Casey was pretending to be the doctor here and asked what I was there for. I told him I wanted to make sure my little boy was healthy. He is. He weighs 43 pounds (91st percentile) and is 40.5" tall (52nd percentile). He didn't cry when he got his vaccinations so he got the privilege of putting his hand on Dr. Sally's wall. As you will see below, he can never stop moving so it ended up being a giant green (his favorite color) blob on the wall that she later outlined. I love this child but he is like a a damn hurricane.

Some things about Casey right now:
  • He says "freeget" instead of forget.
  • His favorite question is "What the heck was even that for?"
  • Despite my insistence that he does not say this, he loves saying he will punch people in the face (this is 100% my fault).
  • An accident is an "askonent."
  • Nothing cuts him deeper than telling him he is being a bad listener or that he needs a time out/has to take a break in his room.
  • He sings a lot.
  • He loves watching "EVANHD" videos on youtube with his dad before bedtime where Evan builds Legos.
  • He digs superheros, Transformers, Ninja Turtles and Legos best.
  • His snuggle buddy at bedtime is Kermit the Frog.
  • He's getting very good at dressing himself and really likes wearing two different colored socks.
  • And just for fun, his diet is almost exclusively: Pop tarts, pancakes, cereal, bagels, chocolate milk/carnation instant breakfast, veggie/fruit snacks, Ritz crackers with fake cheese, yogurt drinks, veggie/fruit juices, PB&J, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese sandwiches, french fries, chips, bagel pizza/pizza, cookies, ice cream/popsicles, and applesauce. Thank goodness for chewable gummy vitamins and probiotics, eh?
